Thoughtful discussions on AI agents and flow state

A promise of AI agents has been that they'll take over menial work so we have time and energy to be in flow state for things that are meaningful to us. What's happening at the moment is the opposite. With coding agents (and even other knowledge work agents) -- we now send agents to do multiple things in parallel, we are context switching between them on updates from them so we can follow up with next steps, nudge them along, etc. We are all getting more done, but one could argue it is cognitively more taxing. There's less flow state. Send me pointers to any thoughtful conversations or posts about this.
